Dear [[FirstName]],

Birame SarrDespite the planned July 30th election in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and hopes that stability will finally be realized, serious humanitarian needs will remain. IMC recently conducted an assessment in one of the most underserved territories in the south Kivu region. The anticipated arrival of 60,000 returnees has had a profound impact on the already inadequate health infrastructure. IMC is planning fully integrated assistance, including health care, shelter, water and sanitation, and economic development.

DRC is one of those complex humanitarian crises that tend to be forgotten. Your support will contribute to immediate lifesaving services for the men, women and children who are struggling with no means of exit.

Sincerely,

Birame Sarr
Country Director, IMC DRC
